Madison Walker-Mebus

Creative Director

Maddie began her dance journey at a young age, growing up in New Orleans where she found a deep emotional connection to movement. Maddie’s career has since taken her around the world. After studying abroad in Norway, she returned to the Pacific Northwest where she danced professionally and taught at multiple studios. Her work has included roles as a choreographer, competition team director, and Artistic Director, where she created and directed full-scale ballet productions.

As Co-Director of Groove Studios, Maddie oversees curriculum development and programming for all Company and Pre-Company levels. Her mission is to provide a technically strong, emotionally connected, and inclusive dance education that supports dancers at every stage of their development.
